Ria Showcases Digital Partnership Programmes at FITUR 2018

FITUR (Feria Internacional de Turismo), one of the most important international tourism trade fairs in the world, took place in Madrid this January.

In its 38th year, the leading trade fair for Ibero-American markets broke trade attendance records, attracting more than 140,000 representatives and over 10,000 companies from 165 countries. Considered the perfect meeting point for tourism professionals, FITUR 2018 also saw Ria present its Digital Partnership Programmes for its online currency exchange business for the first time.

The tourism fair had a strong focus on technology, highlighting its role as a great driver for change and new business opportunities, while enhancing consumer experiences in the sector. This technological atmosphere also made it the ideal place for Ria to showcase its Digital Partnership Programmes.

Currently only available in Spain, these partnerships present businesses – such as travel agencies, hotels and travel bloggers, among others – with the opportunity to grow and increase their revenues by promoting Ria’s online currency exchange service through their existing platform. The online platform will roll out in other selected European countries in 2018.
